About Us

I am a very proud Colorado native. I was born and raised primarily in Westminster, however I now live in Brighton, where my husband and I recently bought a house. My hobbies include spending time with my best friend/husband, Joel, and our puppy Vinny. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, crafting and being at the lake.

I graduated from Metropolitan University of Denver in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology and a minor in Business Management. When I began college I had hopes of one day becoming a probation officer, however that minor in Business Management is currently coming in handy as I assist with our new business venture. My prior career path includes working extensively in the customer service industry.

I have lived in Colorado almost my entire life with the exception of a short stint in Las Vegas. While living in Vegas I met my beautiful wife Melanie. I was lucky enough that she agreed to move back to Colorado with me and start a family. We have 3 children, Stephani, Cayden, and Brynn. Any one that knows me knows that family is the most important thing to me and all of my activities are centered around that passion. We love to camp and boat with friends, if we are not on a ball field on the weekend you will find us at a lake somewhere. I enjoy playing golf and coaching youth athletics.

I have been in the building supply business since the early 90’s and hope to capitalize on that knowledge and experince by starting up Genesis Building Supply.
